In this digital archive, an 3D environment is used as a transformative tool to create an immersive, interactive experience, allowing users of the digital archiveto explore Harry Ramesar’s tattoo studio as if they were physically present during his time as a practicing tattoo artist. Enhanced user engagement through interactive features like detailed close-ups of tattoo artifacts, furniture, and the ability to navigate the space using the control keys as indicted below. 

This approach highlights the importance of preserving cultural and artistic heritage by maintaining the historical context and ambiance of Harry Ramesar’s studio in 3 Dimension. Feedback from family members and the seventeen interviewees conducted in the PhD study helped piece together a virtual space that accurately reflects the look and feel of the original tattoo studio, providing a comprehensive understanding of the tattoo studio environment and work processes.
